The bowl of a teaspoon set on kitchen ceramic tiles in the sunshine. Part of a lovely cutlery set - heavy, Italian, (Alessi Nuovo Milano) stainless steel, and mirror-finished.
The bowl of the spoon is about 4cm in length - establishing shot in the first comment field.
Happy Macro Monday to everyone ;o)

My Purple Spoon Osteospermum is flowering well at the moment, though I will have to check again after last night's very heavy rain. It always makes me smile to see the folded "spoon-like" petals.

No, not those 2 tall peaks in the background. But the smaller pointy peak in shadow in front of them.
This thin prominent peak stands out nicely as one drives north on the Kananaskis Trail (aka Bighorn Hwy, Hwy 40). Was a good challenge figuring out it's name.
The twin summits of massive Mt. Kidd loom large in the background.
Just one of many spectacular peaks one sees in Kananaskis Country.
Have a wonderful Sunday!
