Add some honey to your day. May all of us who are sick, or under the weather, feel better soon.
This photo first came fom an image in my mind caused by a soar throat and body aches. It took gathering my sons help, training, and a few fun texture edits to create. It was a joint effort ~ even though all my joints ache. (sorry it isn't chocolate)

Home, sweet home --- my living room reflected in an Oneida soup spoon lying on the table, or rather, propped against a bit of birch log. (Spot the teapot!)

"Why do I get the big spoon?"
"You have a bigger mouth than I do!"
"That's true, so then you should have given me more ice cream."
"My stomach is bigger than yours."
"Oh yeah, I forgot."
Messing around in the kitchen and stacked these measuring spoons. Then as a result of all sorts of lighting reflections got this shot!

This belonged to my mother, but I don't remember her ever saying anything about it.
Looking online, it seems to be a pin made from a sterling silver salt spoon.
An exact match to this describes it as, "Lovely Sterling Silver Easterling 1944 Salt Spoon Brooch." My mother was 19 in 1944; maybe this was a fad back then.
It's 2 1/2" long.
