Over the last years I’ve shot this subject quite a few times, but it’s the circumstances that are most decisive for the image (see below). It just goes to show that it’s never a bad idea to return to your favourite spots!

Thought I'd join in with all the snowdrop pics. Taken with my new and, as of yet, not very well used macro lens during a local walk for local people. I've added a bit of split toning in an attempt at creating a certain "feel", whatever that means.
