Recently a flight from Chicago to Seattle took me over The Rocky Mountains. From my window seat I was able catch a few snow capped peaks through the cloud cover. According to the flight map, this photo was taken over the Coeur d'Alene Mountains, the northwestern area of the Bitterroot Range, a subrange of the Rockies that runs along the border of Montana and Idaho.
