The Sawtooth Rainforest, a temperate rainforest that forms part of the Tongass National Forest, just outside Skagway, Alaska.
Fifty-foot tall pines were splintered by the incredible wind and rain of Hurricane Katrina. Signs of that storm will remain for many years to come.
Was actually following the trail in hopes of it leading to Dutchman lake. The trail kinda just dead ended in an area where a good size creek breaks up into many creeks. Incredible find!!! Short easy hike.
