Detailss of the Break in large pine brought down in the New Forest recently

WIsh I could've gotten a better view of this sunset and the clouds.

i've only had this splinter in my thumb for 2 days, but it got infected and hurt like hell. tonight i went out and bought some tweezers, some hydrogen peroxide, and some neosporin. i used my stove to sanitize my nail scissors and cut into the wound, cleaned it with the hydrogen peroxide, then dug out the splinter with the tweezers. wrapped up by slathering the cut with neosporin and band-aiding it. sweet relief!

Practiced some "freelensing" with my sister and her boyfriends dog.

It is hard to walk through the trees standing up because the dry brittle twigs tend to spear your clothes. One has to duck down and almost crawl to ensure a smooth passage from the splintering branches.
