Composite of two shots...one for each train at the Gallivan station of Salt Lake City, UT. While technically the shot was trivial but capturing it was not easy. I wanted to capture this shot with blue sky but by the time the crowd dispersed, the color of the sky would have gone. Took 4 visits to same station to nail the shot.

Just got a bunch of decool flash figures (sue me) and made some new figures.

Left To Right

Jay Garrick: Put some Flash Lightning bolts on my old jay helmet. looks way better.

Flezra: Originally was going to make a CW flash but ended up making one based on Ezra Miller. Basically cause the quicksilver head works so well.

Zoom: Probably my favorite of these. Used the original Winter Soldier head on him and it really works. Based off his CW look.

In between pictures there was a definite sense of going downhill slightly. We were to pay for it later!

Inspired by my past project (Childhood memories) I have created the next generation of "wooden toys"! These little vehicles do a good job as you might see on the detailed picture: the wheels really work!

A BNSF manifest rolls east along the Needles Sub, as it approaches Ludlow.

Even though Eli is stronger and younger, Copper is still faster than him. Here he is running full steam towards me. The light was pretty flat, but he wasn't!

We were driving through the Flemish countryside. I saw the birds, the trees, a farmhouse and fields, so typical of this part of the world. I grabbed the shot through the back window as the fields raced by. For a moment the birds seemed to keep pace with the car. Usually I’m driving so it was nice to be sitting on the backseat as a passenger able to snap the occasional passing shot.

Route diverted 12625 Kerala Express powered by Erode WAP-4 #22697 kicks the dust off the freshly laid ballast.

The diversion was due to non interlocking on the 4th line between Tughlakabad - Palwal section of Northern Railways, due to which many trains of Nizamuddin-Agra-Jhansi section were diverted via Agra-Tundla-Delhi.

Forty years ago today, November 21, 1980 America lost the St. Louis-San Francisco in a merger with the Burlington Northern. Also known as the Frisco, my dad and I chased its trains several times in the late 70’s, and photographed the engine terminals and yards in and around Kansas City and Tulsa. The original colors on its road diesels was black and a golden yellow, but in the mid-60’s mandarin orange and white was the color of choice. Here on 08-26-1980 a freight at speed has just passed by Sapulpa towards its target of Cherokee Yard in Tulsa. Lead unit is a EMD GP35 with roof air tanks built in March of 1964. Renumbered to BN 2559 she was retired during the late 1980’s.

Water sprays behind us as the Venice airport quickly fades into the distance. We’re wasting no time to start our holiday in Venice.

The station had closed in 1968, but there were crowds on the platforms to see it pass. No speed cameras on the roads in those days !!
