Here we go with 365:the 2012 edition. 1/366
Really looking forward to this 365 project with you guys. I do want 2012 to be a year of stretching my photography skills and learning how to use the gear in my kit better, so I started the year experimenting with panning shots. I took tons of shots at a local ice skating rink and realize i have much to learn about this technique but I thought this one turned out fairly well.
Photo taken at a fair in my hometown. Totally out of my comfortzone. It was fun doing it and I like the result. Comments to learn more about evening photography are welcome.

PassionWithoutLimits: The Videoshoot
The guys of PassionWithoutLimits asked me to tag along to a videoshoot of their cars.
It was a very long day but I got an empty military airfield, two awesome cars and great company and material to work with.
I got quite some nice shots, so it was all worth it.

Taken while driving across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge at about 60 mph.
This photo is one of many in my new book called Through Len's Lens.

Not a very good pic, but this was the first time I ever saw a Deltic. It is heading the up "Flying Scotsman" near Heck on 17 June 1961. I didn't get its number, but at the time there were only six Deltics in service, Nos. D9000 - D9005. A colourised b/w.
Day 61 - Almost got caught speeding today... finally got a good radio station on my ghetto radio. I was jammin' to something and looked down - I was going just over 80. You cant blame me, I grew up riding on the autobahn... not used to these American rules still. :D
60019 Bittern heading the up "Granite City", the 5.30pm express from Aberdeen to Glasgow Buchanan Street. 30 May 1966.
Doncaster A1 No. 60136 Alcazar heading the 9.45am Yarmouth - York on Saturday 17 June 1961, too fast for my meagre shutter speed ! It is passing Heck, the site of the tragic disaster which happened on 28 February 2001. A colourised b/w.
Composite of two shots...one for each train at the Gallivan station of Salt Lake City, UT. While technically the shot was trivial but capturing it was not easy. I wanted to capture this shot with blue sky but by the time the crowd dispersed, the color of the sky would have gone. Took 4 visits to same station to nail the shot.
