Today was the long and eagerly awaited opening of the historic G3 summit in the Land of the Bed. After the delegations met and exchanged greetings and gifts it was the time for the opening speeches. While Little Pip was making sure that the security standards were met, Henry Henderson of the Eucalyptus Standard was kind enough to transcribe my speech for the history books:
“Towards the End of the Year 2007, three new Global Players emerged in the struggle to make the world a slightly better place.
In a short time they gathered a loyal base of followers, who eagerly followed them on their Quest for fame, fortune and complete world domination.
I speak of course oh my esteemed colleagues Mr Fox, Mrs PB and myself :-)
Now after almost two years of continuing daily adventures our paths finally cross.
I feel the Paw of History on our shoulders.
May epig summit be a force for good and bring forth a set of photographic collaborations that celebrates little furry and woolly creatures alike.
For after all is said and done, we are what we are and always will be: An engineering Fox, a rolling pin wielding Polar Bear and a humble little Sheep.”
