Soldiers from the 2nd Commando Regiment participating in the counter terrorism exercise Mars Olympics at the Illawarra Regional Airport.
The 2nd Commando Regiment conducted a five day counter-terrorism training exercise in Sydney to rehearse the Australian Defence Force's (ADF) response capability to terrorist threats.
Exercise Mars Olympics saw around 500 ADF members join forces with over 200 NSW Police and other emergency services to resolve a number of scenarios at various locations including Holsworthy Barracks, the Illawarra Regional Airport and civilian infrastructure in Sydney's west between 30 November - 4 December 2015.
The exercise is an annual event that helps ensure Australia has among the best counter-terrorism response capabilities in the world.

Here he is happily guarding the Blue Eyed Grass (Sisyrinchium bermudiana); currently a bit non-plussed by the behaviour of the lavender seedlings, I think!
He's been here a long time and I have yet to see him blink, but I'm sure he does in times of peril 😁
I was bored so I made this guy in about 1 hour. 1st time painting arms, and a head. So it might not be my best guy so far. And obviously he looks much better IRL.

Fungi like this are to find often. They are difficult to determine.
Solche Becherlinge findet man immer wieder und doch reizen sie jedes mal dazu die Kamera auszupacken.

They were only recognizable as white dots. Macro and Raynox were used.
Bei dem winzigen Trio sah ich erst Zuhause auf dem Monitor das es Stäublinge sein müssen. Am Stubben waren nur solche Winzlinge sowie vergammelte vom Vorjahr.
Die Kombi Makro/Raynox überzeugt mich immer mehr. Damit ist Fokus Bracketing nutzbar. Das geht mit dem Lupenobjektiv nicht.

There are many small coprinus, which this are i don't know. I just liked the synchronous inclination.
Die zwei waren so 4-5cm. Mit Tintling bin ich mir ziemlich sicher, welcher genau übersteigt meine Kenntnisse. Das Duo mit der gleichmässigen Neigung nach links gefiel mir einfach. Ein weiterer Fund vom Kemmeriboden wo im Gegensatz zum verdorrten Flachland genügend Pilzmotive zu finden waren.
