AAW October 5 - 12: Selective Focus
WIT: Held the glasses with one hand, took the picture with the other. Hard to get the focus right, especially with one hand, lol! In post, slightly desaturated the blurred background, and cropped.
This was shot near Mo i Rana in Northern-Norway.
Some specs: Nikon D800 with AF-S Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8G ED and Lee 0.6 GND Hard Edge. Remote trigger, Benro Carbon Traveler Flat II tripod..
Photographed in the rain yesterday. A Cortinarius, but which one exactly is a mystery to me, as is usually the case.
Im Regen fotografiert was Kamera und Objektiv aushalten sollten. Gibt damit aber halt einige Reflexionen auf dem Hut.

Es braucht immer einigen Aufwand um die kleinen Schleimpilzchen zu fotografieren. Manchmal ist man versucht es bleiben zu lassen. Wenn dann aber ein Bild einigermassen gelingt ist man froh es doch versucht zu haben.
Nebst dem Makroobjektiv waren hier auch noch zwei Zwischenringe und die Nahlinse Raynox 250 im Einsatz.

This fast gold wasp that could only stay still for a second. This is the best photo of several out of focus... :-)
There are over 100 different small cups on branches and stems. Determination without a microscope is not possible. These are from the mushroom photo week in the Black Forest in October.
Diese Winzlinge hielt ich zuerst für die normalen zitronengelben Holzbecherchen mit ausgeprägtem Stiel. Es dürfte aber eine der über 100 Arten von Stiel-/Stängel-/Nagelbecherchen sein.

Diese Gruppe kleiner Helmlinge wächst aus einem Spalt eines Totholzstammes. Gefiel mir wie sie da schön aufgereiht stehen.

l'affresco rappresenta il Genio del proprietario nell'atto di compiere un sacrificio, ai lati i Lari danzanti e alla base il serpente Agathodemone, protettore della casa.
L'Agathodemone è un demone della mitologia dell'Antica Grecia.
Presente nella mitologia romana diventa una specie di genius loci, ma più che altro familiare, associato anche alla fortuna, alla salute e alla saggezza.
Il serpente era comunque all'origine il simbolo dello spirito della Terra.
