Funny, how shots can take you in different directions! Originally wanted to create a play of lens opacity and form of the sunglasses, this changed to depth of field shot, then a reflected cloud shot then an aha moment with perspective on out decking

Difficult not to appear in a shot like this so there is a mini selfie in the corner of the lens!

spec is the little white sailboat...

In my humble opinion every P1 produced should have European-spec headlights just like this one.

Photographed in the rain yesterday. A Cortinarius, but which one exactly is a mystery to me, as is usually the case.

Stack with 33 single shots.

There are around 40 different species of Lachnellula. These were on the ground on a spruce branch. Size in the range of 1mm.

All the gold which is under or upon the earth is not enough to give in exchange for virtue. Plato

It always takes some effort to photograph the small slime molds. Sometimes you are tempted to let it go. But if a picture succeeds to some extent, one is glad to have tried it.

In addition to the macro lens, two extension tubes and the Raynox 250 close-up lens were also used here.

Stack with 30 single images.

They were very small, around 2mm. Grown in the same location as the dark red one in the previous photo.

One of the group of Cortinarius. There are many different ones and once again I can't pinpoint the exact species.

Stack image from 20 individual shots.

They had a lot of interest in each other and not much attention to the camera.

There are over 100 different small cups on branches and stems. Determination without a microscope is not possible. These are from the mushroom photo week in the Black Forest in October.
