It took hours of prep work from dozens of volunteers, unloading and assembling bikes.
But when 200+ kids streamed through the doors at the Webster University gymnasium Saturday morning and saw their new bikes waiting for them, it made all the effort worthwhile!
Bikes for Kids is always a magical extravaganza of excitement for all the kids that get to take home new bikes. This is what the magic looked like.
Thank you to all our volunteer crews, partner agencies, sponsors, St. Louis Rams cheerleaders, Rampage and our terrific hosts at Webster!

this looks terrible, I know
two years ago, when this Robert Pattinson's movie was released in here, they put a giant banner on the movie theater's door
and then, I just saw that 'Remember Me' below 'Lembranças' and I thought 'oh my... Placebo.'
so, a week later, I went there with a couple of friends and just put that 'special needs' on the banner.
obviously, someone took it off later, anyway, that's the story.
and the girl standing in there is my friend Liizie, she asked me to take this picture because this song reminds her of her boyfriend.
the end.
More than 600 people came out to St. Louis University High School to compete and raise money for local kids with disabilities!
I took pictures of everyone as they were going down the zipline. This is my favorite because you can tell (sorta) that the two of them are high up and also there is the caregiver/camper duo shown nicely in this shot.
