Variety Children's Theatre is a one-of-a-kind program that teams St. Louis' top actors and directors with kids living with disabilities.
In 2014, Variety Children's Theatre presented Disney's "The Little Mermaid." More than a dozen Variety kids appeared on stage as members of the children's ensemble, and Variety kid Nicholas George appeared in a lead role as Princess Ariel's friend Flounder!
Variety kids also helped out backstage with lighting, sound, costumes and more as production interns.

Tanner was admitted to our Special Care Unit in Jiaozuo in May 2010 at just days old due to problems with his left eye. The nurses there named him after Tanner Richards (Emily Chapman Richards’ husband). After receiving surgery and follow up care, Tanner returned to Jiaozuo and has received continued care there for the past two years. His nurses have described him as active, huggable, and affectionate towards the younger children in his nursery.
Tanner was recently transferred to Maria’s Big House of Hope while he undergoes chemotherapy. He has adjusted well to his new surroundings, and his nannies enjoy helping him explore his surroundings. Although he tends to be a bit hesitant at first, he quickly warms up to visitors and laughs with a deep, contagious chuckle.
Tanner will soon celebrate his third birthday. Please pray for our medical staff as they direct his care, and for Tanner as he continues treatment. We pray that his care will give him the hope of a forever family of his own.

We got right back to it with Variety Adventure Camp, as our kids reconvened for a second week of fun, friendship and redefining their limits!
Each one of our campers has a unique disability to overcome, but camp gives them the chance to try new things in a fun, supportive environment.
I sent these to Maui News. Just fwi. It took about a good hour to send these photos. In total i was on the computer/sending photos for 5 hours. (not straight but in total of the 6 days.)
This is my friend Anna and her camper David. :)
