The second model I got after the codex got an update. I love the model. I think it really reflects his background well and captures his spirit.
Canis took the longest to paint, though Fangir (the Thunderwolf) was supprisingly easy to attain good results.
I set the angle of the elbow with glue as the joint fit was a bit dicey.
The shoulderpad hopefully makes a nice warm detail against the cool grey. It's Tamiya Chrome Oxide Yellow with some lighter highlights mixed from that and white, and a drybrush of Dorn Yellow. I shaded with Agrax to keep the warmth.
The gatling is sitll in base colours, and not attached yet. I think it may be possible to swap it for the flamer still, but the gatlng is kinda cool.
Psychological advantage.
Made of spare Crisis Suit parts donated by my opponent/daughter plus a pelvis and half a burst cannon from a bits-bag from my local GW.
The plating is a cut-up Sector Mechanicus base.
The runes took a while, I did the strokes in several passes with Agrax and then painted around them with the underlying colour to sharpen things up. Then re-worked the shading of the scroll over the top.
The red glow and green "blip" ECG were pretty easy, the yellow glow took forever and still isn't that great.

Worked up the exhaust pipe housings with copper and rust, added lots of washes to the engine area and drybrushed some lighter metals.
I've now glued and pinned the waist joint and clipped the sarcophagus in place. I forgot that I meant to put some armour glass film inside the view slit so I might try and emplace that with tweezers rather than pull it out again and scratch the paint.
