The bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building on April 19, 1995, killed 168 people, including 19 children, and injured more than 650. The memorial is a public/private partnership erected so that the American public can honor the memory of the victims, their families, the survivors, and their rescuers.
Immediately adjacent the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial is the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum. The museum is dedicated to educating visitors about the impact of violence, informing about events surrounding the bombing, and inspiring hope and healing through lessons learned by those affected.

One for sorrow,
Two for joy,
Three for a girl,
Four for a boy,
Five for silver,
Six for gold,
Seven for a secret
Never to be told.
An old marker drawing. I also used coloured pencils and a white gel pen. The original is about 20 cm x 20 cm, done on marker paper.
Ősszel lekaszálták a lomb és a gyökérzet egy részét, de a fa túlélte. Most befejezték a piszkos munkát...8-(
A munkahely utolsó szépséges virágzó fáját is kipusztították.
When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.

As a Newcastle fan, the season didn't start as I would have hoped today. This single Magpie might have been the omen at Adel Dam this morning.
For the series Automated Emotion I let ChatGPT write the prompts. I asked it to compile a list of human emotions and specify colors that can be associated with that emotions. Then I let it merge it's findings with a template for a Midjourney prompt, in which a mime actress expresses the emotion.
Automated art production, how does that sound as a perspective for the future of art?
From a thousand places she sprouts her roots all dancing to the sky in the pattern of a deaths head, to finally join together and open out into a long anguishing scream.

Pink Floyd - Sorrow
The sweet smell of a great sorrow lies over the land
Plumes of smoke rise and merge into the leaden sky:
A man lies and dreams of green fields and rivers,
But awakes to a morning with no reason for waking
He's haunted by the memory of a lost paradise
In his youth or a dream, he can't be precise
He's chained forever to a world that's departed
It's not enough, it's not enough
His blood has frozen & curdled with fright
His knees have trembled & given way in the night
His hand has weakened at the moment of truth
His step has faltered
One world, one soul
Time pass, the river rolls
It's not enough it's not enough
His hand has faltered
And he talks to the river of lost love and dedication
And silent replies that swirl invitation
Flow dark and troubled to an oily sea
A grim intimation of what is to be
There's an unceasing wind that blows through this night
And there's dust in my eyes, that blinds my sight
And silence that speaks so much louder that words,
Of promises broken

You say just one word
Just one whisper
Hurry to say just one word
To remind me of our grace
Silence growing mad
How did it get so sad?
Leave behind all the mess we made
Are we innocent?

You said it was forever,
Then you said you would try,
Now you say it's never..
And the word 'never' made me cry.

"Death must be so beautiful. To lie in the soft brown earth, with the grasses waving above one's head, and listen to silence. To have no yesterday, and no to-morrow. To forget time, to forget life, to be at peace."

Named after the song by Raison d'être. Saw this cool patch of dandelions under the water and thought it looked real nice.
Played with all the colours and stuff, as you can see.
Location: Somewhere between Pretoria and the Waterberg
Description: Although this photograph was taken with my Sony Alpha 100, it was actually taken by my buddy Andre.
We were on our way to the Waterberg photo-shoot, when we drove past this huge field of dead and drying sunflowers, all ready and waiting for their heavy seed-pods to be harvested. My first thought when I saw this was… shame, they look so sad!?
I asked Andre to stop the car so that I could take some photos… but what I really wanted was for Andre to take the photos… of me standing in the middle of it all… looking equally sad!
