Jesus meets His Mother: The Fourth Station of the Cross at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Grand Forks, ND.
Tom, get your plane right on time.
I know youve been eager to fly now.
Hey let your honesty shine, shine, shine
Da-n-da-da-n-da-da-n-da-da
Like it shines on me

My grandmother died a few weeks ago. I took this picture in her garden when we were looking through her old house for important things before everything is sold. This summer has been very hot, and of course nobody watered her flowers anymore. I spent some beautiful hours in this garden in my childhood, learning about growing cherry trees and green beans. I'll miss that, but I'll never forget.
But notice: there's still one burgeon closed and waiting... maybe it rained a few days later, and life came back to the old garden and its withered flowers.

Dramatic memorial with two female sculptures in front of the E.M. Peck family sarcophagus. There are two statues at this site and both give me a very somber feeling when visiting. They both look so sad possibly due to both of the Peck's children predating them in death. Very moving area of the cemetary.
I have always been a fan of poem. How delicate the words that had been used and how beautiful it portrays of a deep emotion's behavior.
One of my favorite from Edgar Allan Poe
A Dream Within A Dream
Take this kiss upon the brow!
And, in parting from you now,
Thus much let me avow-
You are not wrong, who deem
That my days have been a dream;
Yet if hope has flown away
In a night, or in a day,
In a vision, or in none,
Is it therefore the less gone?
All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.
I stand amid the roar
Of a surf-tormented shore,
And I hold within my hand
Grains of the golden sand-
How few! yet how they creep
Through my fingers to the deep,
While I weep- while I weep!
O God! can I not grasp
Them with a tighter clasp?
O God! can I not save
One from the pitiless wave?
Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream?
