Sorrow like a ceaseless rain
Beats upon my heart.
People twist and scream in pain,—
Dawn will find them still again;
This has neither wax nor wane,
Neither stop nor start.
People dress and go to town;
I sit in my chair.
All my thoughts are slow and brown:
Standing up or sitting down
Little matters, or what gown
Or what shoes I wear.

Saidapet Bridge
This photo was taken after the terrible after-effects of NISHA at Chennai, November 2008.
People from Saidapet bridge see the pathetic condition of the affected people.
It is to be noted that Chennai has not seen such a heavy rain in 10-15 years.

PLESNA IMPROVIZACIJA: TUGA
Plesačica: Esta Matković
Performeri, plesači, glazbenici, filozofi, teoretičari i svi ljubitelji teatra i plesa,
Seciranje improvizacije, traženje puta u mišljenju, kontrolirana koincidencija mogu svjesnim odlukama odrediti trenutni akt u improvizaciji.

234.366: Leela, one of the female oragutans at the Erie Zoo, will be moving out in short time over to the Toledo Zoo on recommendation from the breeding program which the zoo participates in. Apparently when orangutans reach nine years old they typically venture out and leave their families. It was really cute to see her and the little one roaming their exhibit area covered up with bed sheets. Except she decided to curl up and lie next to the outside window.
If anyone knows the name of the youngest oragnutan born this year please let me know. I was looking for the sign and/or a zoo keeper but didn't find any.

Stained glass, church of Our Lady of sorrows (Katerveire/Hagelstein), built by Passionists (Congregatio Passionis). Stained glass of L. Lecomte, Brussels.

Sweet and Sorrow were inspired by William Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo + Juliet’. At one point in the play Juliet says goodbye to Romeo with the famous quote: ‘Parting is such sweet sorrow.’ This oxymoron combines contradictory ideas of pleasure + pain. Saying goodbye to Romeo triggers deep sadness in Juliet, but that sadness also reminds her of her love for him, and for this reason it is sweet. These emotions are symbolized by the heart shields on their chest. I wanted to give an impression that they were both wearing armor, and that their feelings of sorrow come from the true identity behind the mask.

He's haunted by the memory of a lost paradise
In his youth or a dream, he can't be precise
He's chained forever to a world that 's departed
It's not enough, it's not enough
His blood has frozen & curdled with fright
His knees have trembled & given way in the night
His hand has weakened at the moment of truth
His step has faltered
One world, one soul
Time pass, the river roll
