The Roman funerary steles at the MET kept provoking my thoughts about emotions around death. The longing for longevity and fear for departure both inspired so much creativity that conveyed the deepest beauty. Perhaps that was where life’s immense mystery laid.
while i was home today my little love china was hit by a car and passed away - we dressed him in fairys wings and glittery jewellery , i shall miss my darling little friend that is all ways at my side, fly to heaven my love.

Prayers are needed for the people of West, Texas, where the fertilizer plant blew up destroying at least 50 houses, a school. a nursing home, an apartment complex, and damaged an untold portion of the other houses and structures in the town. Over 200 people were injured by the blast, twelve are confirmed dead, and 60 people remain unaccounted for.
West is a small town of around 2700 people located about 20 miles north of Waco, and about 60 miles from where I live. It has a strong Czech heritage. The people of West are known for their friendliness, hard work, love of dancing the polka, and their delicious Czech food; especially their famous kolaches which are the official kolaches of the Texas legislature. The people of West have had their lives turned upsidedown.
In the meantime, the city of Boston has been shut down as the police search for the remaining bombing suspect. Those people in that tragedy have also have their lives turned upside down.
Then there's all the other things going on in this country, and all over the world. We live in perilous times. All we can do is hear what Jesus had to say about these times; that we are to pray that we be accounted worthy to escape the things that are coming upon the world. So in your prayers for the victims of these tragic disasters. pray also for yourself.
I have disaster overload.
New maps of Sorrow. Digital collage printed to acetate and layered. Nice to place in front of an X-Ray light table!
Recently I was asked to photograph a performance called "Wanderlust" by the Movement Workshop Group in nyc. It was an amazing piece of dance theatre, and a very challenging shoot! Basically I was doing my best to capture sharp pictures of dancers in extremely low light.
It was a lot of fun too, and I felt privileged to be able to document their wonderful show.
I spend almost all night patrolling the surroundings of hospital, part to distracted me for the pain I was having to watched Aileen laying that bed without giving much signs of recovering beside the superficial wounds that were already gone. I call Nia urging her to stayed in NY while we were getting ourselves settled in a new place. I didn't want her to be another target of the vampires or anyone else. Crawford step by to gave some details of the successful investments I manage to do last time I was in NY, and for how the house in Oregon was wipe out with out a trace of where we would heading. But also my attorney delivered me an envelope that just for the scent I knew from who was it without even look. So I sat in a chair near the window, holding on the piece of paper as I read the words that were written. I probably most look so bad, because when I finished Crawford left the room. Sometimes that male can be very silent when he want to be or I was completely disturbed by letter. It was a goodbye letter, with hard pain in my chest I read each and every word carefully, wanting to find another meaning different that it was written but it wasn't any, she left us, left me, I wasn't good enough for her, not worthy of her trust. I tried hard to not feel it, but with every aching beat was an scorching pain in my already broken heart.
You can take a man out of the sorrows,
But you cannot take the sorrow out of a man.
你可以讓一個人走出憂傷,
但無法讓憂傷走出一個人。
Blinded By Sorrow
The sorrow of this world haven't just blur my eyes, so my hand! I don' know if I could destroy all this evilness...

Through these fields of destruction

I've witnessed your suffering
As the battle raged high
Although shot a while back in 2009, this image suddenly feels more poignant given the news of the natural disaster of both tsunami and earthquake in Japan.
So I've replaced this photo about 6 times. With different tints and black and white and finally i somewhat decided on color.
Still not happy with how this turned out at all:/
Ohwell.
So, since photoshops back up i'm definitely gonna be uploading more, unless something tragic happens again, God forbid. :/
That means I'll be participating in more weekly group photos, This is for My Face Is My Canvas's emulation challenge. I'm excited to participate more:)
I hope that means that my lost followers will start tuning in again, I miss you guys. haha.
