In tribute to a wonderful and talented friend, ceila- Therese, who passed away recently. I feel shocked and saddened. It is so hard to know these things with friends so far away. Her passing has not gone unnoticed and she was loved and admired by many. My thoughts go out to her family and Flickr friends. Thank you for your beautiful work and thoughts, ceila. Love- Kim

Mørket siger sakte inn
Finner veier i mitt sultne sinn
Legger seg verdig til ro
i sår som aldri vil gro
I took this photo of an Indonesian mask of mine a while back and kind of forgot about it. In light of the earthquake in Java on May 27, I post it now.
Each legion of the empire is usually accompanied and led by Immortals, the Zeta Legion is no exception with Sir Sorrow.
Sir Sorrow is one of three immortals that lead the Legion to conquest in the Magenta sector. His somber attitude makes even the emotionless legionaries depressed, which is why he often works alone. People who get on the wrong side of the Zeta Shard are often assigned to Sir Somber’s command or are executed... most would prefer the later.
Version 2. The first was accidentally not processed in 16-bit and showed some banding in the sky, which has been corrected. The evening star, Venus, can also be seen in this version - I could not see it in the first. A blend of four photographs.
Version 3 now shown. Had not figured out how to fix the lens distortion earlier, which had affected the silo, but recently found how to correct it.
Dreams in the Dusk
Dreams in the dusk,
Only dreams closing the day
And with the day’s close going back
To the gray things, the dark things,
The far, deep things of dreamland.
Dreams, only dreams in the dusk,
Only the old remembered pictures
Of lost days when the day’s loss
Wrote in tears the heart’s loss.
Tears and loss and broken dreams
May find your heart at dusk.

It is not often that I let grief come over me, yet, this is now unavoidable, so may are losing their life, every day, more...
It seems people are becoming desensitised to these horrific numbers or is it a case of staying sane?
Most likely.
I feel for all those that are left behind under very sad condition.
My condolences.
Wishing you well and stay safe.
Lead and enjoy a good life, do and say things that enrich... and do not forget to tell the people close to you, how much you love them!
With love to you and thank you for ALL your faves and comments, M, (* _ *)
