learning something new for the fun of it - think it's gonng to end up costing me money :)
It sits in the palm of an average hand.
After 2 days of this, I ended up with sore thumbs (but no cuts, despite cath's worst fears).
I loved this... it had shrimps, some mayo concoction and deep-fried...

For five years in a row, we did choucroute. Then a year of cassoulet. This year, I wasn't feeling either one.
Week 30/52
I am so happy with this piece of art. It's a commissioned piece from a local Montreal artist that I will be getting tattooed. She's been working on this for a couple weeks and I picked it up from her yesterday.

For this little mans 4th birthday I took him to the Dallas Museum of Art & then across the street to the new park they built in Dallas going over the top of a highway. It is a genius park idea in an area where before no one would have thought of putting a park! One of these days these stairs will be spiraling around a great large tree!
Eitka was my very first BJD, so you think she'd be spoiled, but she's not. she's kind of difficult and very reserved, has to be dressed a certain way, wear the same wig she's always worn. But yesterday I was feeling down and I think she knew, so she let me dress her up in different clothes and wear a different wig for the first time. And she looks just lovely. :)
<3 me my Eitka.
Eitka is a DoC Petsha Elf.

more for a laugh going all "something old something new" 2011 Lumix GF3 compact body MFT with new "pro level" Leica 15mm f1.7 lens... a ridiculous combination one of my newest lenses with one of my first MFT cameras from back in the day (bought when 2 years old for the silly sum of $45 WITH the 14mm pancake... from an actual respected camera shop no less no ebay snipe or dodgy hockshop)
But I actually like this combo - the 14 mm pancake is a good, very good, lens and tiny but the 15mm is just in another league and even if it is about two and a half times larger I can still fit it in a jacket pocket or the outside pocket of my camera bag
