Eitka was my very first BJD, so you think she'd be spoiled, but she's not. she's kind of difficult and very reserved, has to be dressed a certain way, wear the same wig she's always worn. But yesterday I was feeling down and I think she knew, so she let me dress her up in different clothes and wear a different wig for the first time. And she looks just lovely. :)

OK. So this is my first foray in to the world of HDR. Hand held, three images (auto bracketing by 2 stops). I'm using a program called FDRtools on my Mac. There's a lot to learn.

I've started taking marketing photos for the Austin Chronicle. It's not a paying job, nor is it particularly glamorous, but it gives me a good excuse to get out and do new things, shoot a lot, and make a few people smile. Thanks to Rebecca for the hookup.

Something new

It can be hard finding time to draft some items for this site. Idk if it's a lack of motivation from members to participate in fun and engaging discussions or the very limited amount of artists producing quality items.

I attended the first event for the Young Professionals Organization in North Attleboro and the surrounding area. I had to duck out early too which was unfortunate because I enjoyed meeting the few people that I had a chance to talk with. I'll make sure to attend from future events with this organization though. stamping ink on the sticky side of clear vinyl. An experiment. Ink won't dry this way, so not sure how it will work out. Could be messy in the application, but printing on the sticky side may make it last longer...
