A year look back

2011...

It's when I was heavily suffered from emotional and financial issue, more than ever before...

It's when I managed to have a meal a day and calculated every single cent that I spent...

It's when I decided to endure with my life like that, to hold on to my hope, rather than getting some cash for living...

It's when I was about to give up, having sleepless nights, hopelessly crying for a way to get out...

In return,

It's when I knew things would come when they're ready. Failure and rejection happen all the time, we have to move on...

It's when I found the way to go with my life and fortunately enough to make my living with what I love...

It's when I learned to be brave, be strong, to take risk, to try everything I can think of, in order to reach my goals...

It's when I was so proud of myself for what I've done and for not being a burden for my family but a supporter instead...

...................

There're all ups and downs...

Many people say I'm so blessed and happy for having what I have, for being able to live with what I love but let's face it, there's always a price and a story behind... It's risky and insane at some points but I would do it all over again if there was a second chance.

Now, 2012, I'm kicking off the new year with a new plan with a bit bolder and further steps... (just love playing with my head right now, hehe)

Can you figure it out? No Chinese required.

Located in Philadelphia, PA, the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum is one of the world’s greatest collections of racing sports cars. Through our theme, “The Spirit of Competition”, we celebrate the history and evolution of these magnificent machines. Assembled over 50 years by Dr. Frederick Simeone, the Museum contains over 65 historically significant cars including Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Bugatti, Mercedes, Jaguar, Bentley, Porsche, Aston Martin, Corvette, Ford and more. We are open Tuesday through Sunday for General Admission and there is always something new and exciting happening here. We offer many different types of events including our world famous Demo Days, Special Events, Special Exhibits and more. The Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum is a 501(c)3 nonprofit institution.

I thought I would try something new today. I mixed colors that I usually don't.

.. a tiny little detail but. yes.

this is my keychain..typical things, a traditional norwegian troll. completely normal.

then the tromsø polar bear(not beer, learn proper english folks ) joke in shiny pink..(not really pink its called fuchsia ppl, learn that too ;p)

and the typical 'normal'... cutesy teddy bear, i dont truly care much about.

then yea. this tiny little metal plate with a bit more... 'edgy' joke.

i actually got as a little bonus from the playfulmeow online shop together with something else, still completely 'normal' including the fact they sort of always have a black friday... mostly because its an actually very honest and generous online shop.

ok now for the actual twist.

i found this particularly little thing, randomly lying in on the floor 1 or 2 days ago, something like that. date was not relevant either... but it was actually taken off the keychain, and lying on the floor. since things don't 'disappear' or anything like that, but are completely rationally being put in wrong places at wrong times, and 'miracles' dont really happen, facts. noone else could do it but me...

..yea. lack of focus and being awfully distracted all the time is one thing. sdam is another. both facts... but i legit completely dont remember doing anything and its something i would never do myself and im completely honest with myself now.

i must, as i have vaguely suspected a few times already but wasn't sure , experience ,occasional, very short most likely and quite rare, moments of full dissociation.

weird..? maybe. but it doesn't seem to happen in any negative or dangerous moments... quite the opposite, so i guess some sort of new silly mrappie lesson about myself...

it was actually sort of funny

12x16 acrylic on canvasboard....trying something new

something old and something new. the building is starting to slowly whither away.

Again trying something new with post editing and saw this interesting carved cement in China Town...

CY94...after a few days of sun and warmer temps, the weather turned wet and foggy. So something new, well, not really new, but different. This is my way home a few hours ago from off island. The fog is as thick as pea soup.

I am not sure what this is - but it is slowly opening to something.

Mosaic work: 30 cm x 30 cm

Made with tiffany glas, smalti, marble stones

...looks like a Greenhouse-To-Be. The fan blades in the left face of the structure were turning without purpose from ambient air currents. A short way down Euchre Creek Road discovered when I drove down Euchre Creek Road for a suitaable place to turn my car around Oct 5.

Circling the new box.

Trying something new, Brogue Gastropub.
