Searching out the leaves here on our farm. Looking for the change. These solo trees are very appealing to me.
This is another of my papaya solo trees; the papayas do no grow big like the normal ones, that is why it is called Haiwaian solo. It means just enough for a person's consumption!
Quite a good output.
The tree is about 8 feet tall. The fruits take about 2.5 months to ripen.
“The tree which moves some to tears of joy is in the eyes of others only a green thing that stands in the way. Some see nature all ridicule and deformity... and some scarce see nature at all. But to the eyes of the man of imagination, nature is imagination itself.”

A flock of Cattle Egret took to flight so I knew something interesting was near. This beauty of a bird landed in a large solo tree in a cow pasture. The bird hung around for a while before pulling a small branch off and taking off again. This was on the way to Blue Creek Village in Toledo, Belize

This graying section of an old, old tree is revealed in the cliff face on the Oregon coast about 20 feet up the cliff but under another 40 feet of ancient stone and sand. The Pacific is washing it visible, and eventually it will be taken by the sea.

This tree, encountered on one of my walks, seemed quite stately and solid. I liked the texture, the tones, and the three black striped shadows across the grass around the tree.
Near Wyanga this solo tree stands close to the railway line. The Semephore wires soon will be removed when Train Order Working is introduced on this line.
The nights in the wild were very very dark. It was somewhat creepy, but also interesting. This was a solo tree hanging out near our camp in the Makgadikgadi Pans.
Yes, little tree.... most of the time I´m just like you when I´m on the road.... but you know what I do? I take advantage of that time by myself, get off the highway for a couple of minutes, enjoy the view and capture it.
I love the landscape the road offers, and the quietness it gives to us travelers, so it´s a very nice and quiet time for me.
I take pictures of the landscape and of a solo tree like you... and in a way, for a little while, we keep company to each other. =)
