(129/365) I bought one Nepeta "Catmint" plant last year, boy does it like our ground, the hard Winter & deep snow didn't bother it. It's grown so much already I've had to prune it back as it's swamping nearby less vigorous plants. Seemed a shame to throw it all in the compost bin so I took these 7 cuttings, dabbed them in rooting powder & stuck them in gritty compost. Carol Klein had better watch out lol.
Als ich Blumen fotografierte tauchte das neugierige Eichhörnchen im Botanischen Garten Berlin-Dahlem neben mir auf.

When I photographed flowers, the curious squirrel appeared in the Botanical Garden Berlin-Dahlem next to me.
Early morning photo of a beautiful Cheetah at the Kgalagadi Transfrontier park, South Africa!
How lucky can you be when such a beautiful predator walks out in the open along your vehicle (at some distance though) providing ampel time to make some nice photos! The light was just great!

Clathrus archeri (synonyms Lysurus archeri, Anthurus archeri, Pseudocolus archeri), commonly known as octopus stinkhorn, or devil's fingers, is a fungus which like most fungi has a global distribution. The young fungus erupts from a suberumpent egg by forming into four to seven elongated slender arms initially erect and attached at the top. The arms then unfold to reveal a pinkish-red interior covered with a dark-olive spore-containing gleba. In maturity it smells like putrid flesh.
