Die Luft ist dünn auf dem Weg nach oben. Mein Weg endet beim Refugium auf 4800m Höhe. Der Cotopaxi in Ecuador hat eine Höhe von 5897m und ist der zweit höchste Berg im Land. Er ist beeindruckend und von weitem sichtbar mit seine Schneekuppe.

Gli scorci di paesaggio essenziale della Maremma di Grosseto suscitano spesso una strana impressione. La sensazione, infatti, è come d'attesa; come se un fatto incompiuto stesse per verificarsi, stesse per giungere a compimento, ma al tempo stesso ci sia qualcosa che lo impedisce. Come per questo eroico manipolo d'alberi, ritiratosi alla sommità di un colle. E' il loro un inizio o una fine? E di che cosa? ..... ..

The Iron Road was installed along a stretch of disused railway embankment deep in the Forest of Dean.
Twenty evenly spaced railway sleepers placed on the gentle curve of a disused railway line bring the spirit of the Forest’s industrial past to life.
Carved out of the wood are poetic images of natural or industrial life-a feather, a leaf, a wheel, a factory or a cloud.
The jar with water pouring out refers to the stream running under the embankment. The wood is a Eucalyptus called Jarrah, and the sleepers were obtained from the London underground.
