HOME hosted the Peterloo Soapbox , part of the Manchester Histories Peterloo Anniversary Weekender, commemorating 200 years since the Peterloo Massacre.
We invited creatives from all over Greater Manchester to take to the mic and say their piece, responding to the themes of Protest, Democracy and Freedom of Speech.
Four 15-minute, TED-style talks by thought leaders provide practical inspiration for busy professionals.

"Soapbox! The Audience Speaks" is a crowd-sourced exhibition at the Museum of Photographic Arts (mopa.org/) in San Diego's Balboa Park. Soapbox! was developed by Wesley Hsu (User Interface Designer at MOPA) using the Open Exhibits SDK (openexhibits.org).
