I actually got in a convo the other day with someone who claimed the US income tax was unconstitutional. I was waiting to hear his thoughts on the prudence of staying on the gold standard, and whether he thought Tyler necessarily had to follow Tippecanoe.
Anyway, I recall reading a tax court case from 30 years ago where the court even then said it was sick of the stale, frivolous arguments about the income tax. Really sick. The opinion went on at length about how stupid tax protestors are. And to further bolster its point, it said, "You know what, we've had enough. We're fining the taxpayer an additional $5,000 penalty for bringing up this ridiculous argument. Let that be a warning to any other tax protestor."

After multiple crashes my soapbox racer was is serious need of an alignment. Or bending the axle back into shape. A couple ratchet straps, one auto lift (thank you work), and some pry bars is all it took.
