My beloved Mr. Snuggles, our loving dog who is heading for a thirteenth birthday next year. Precocious, sometime downright snarky with a looks like this one that convey how he feels about things. Posting this a day late as obligations yesterday kept me from posting for National Dog Day which is August 26. Happy National Dog Day old friend, you are very loved and your loyalty toward me and the family is wonderful. Love ya buddy!

I come home at lunch and find them like this almost every day. Even on hot days, they still want to snuggle. The sweetness is almost too much to bear!
Bella was sleeping on my lap, as usual. She washes her fur when she wakes up & if I’m lucky she sometimes washes my hand too. She is so sweet. Happy Caturday!

Luna does not understand personal space. Neither does Madison. So while Madison vegetated on the couch, Luna joined her, licking her face as she made her way to her final resting position. Sorry for the blurry photo, only one light on at the time, and I have shaky hands.
In other news, Ms. Madi has made it onto IMDB.com, (www.imdb.com/name/nm11226980/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1) We told her she damn well better thank her parents before anyone else when she wins her first Golden Globe, Emmy, Oscar, or Tony.
Anyway, snuggle with your love one this weekend, heck snuggle with them every night. B
Navagio beach or Shipwreck beach or sometimes referred to as Smugglers Cove, and I take it a step further and refer to it as Snugglers Cove. If it weren't for all the tourists during the day, this would be a great place to snuggle so to speak. This beach is very secluded and can only be reached by boat unless you have the bravery to base jump, scale the cliffs, or have a helicopter drop you in. This is by far one of the scariest photos I have ever taken. I did not realize how frightened I was of heights until I peered over the edge to take this picture. There is a spot with a railing where one can take a photograph safely even in strong wind, but this position has no railing. When you look over the edge it is straight down. One slip of the footing, one strong gust of wind, or even a loose rock can cost you your life. It was exhilarating though. Quite a rush. This is a definite must see located on the beautiful island of Zakynthos or Zante as some call it, in the Ionian island chain of the beautiful country of Greece.
Holly's 6 kittens are thriving! AND beginning to get their eyes open! SO amazing! As the nice cat bed I had them in first, for the great occasion, has already grown too small to hold them all comfortably so I fixed a big box I had, with the sides cut down so Holly could get in and out easily. She is not so thrilled with the change, but I think she is accepting is as a better thing.
Not sure whether it's mom or dad, but these two least tern chicks are snuggling under the protective parent. So cute!

I’m not sure what this is, to be honest. It was taken while wandering around Hyde Hall RHS garden earlier in the month - it looked rather pretty and photogenic. It was taken handheld in sunlight so I’m rather surprised how soft and luscious the light appeared in the shot.
I think I’m on a flower streak just now which does not bode too well for my 100x wobbly camera project :(
