day 4:
1.4.12
i’m going to cut my bangs.
i’m not sure whether i should be experimental and try scruffy straight bangs
or just cut them the way i usually do.
I DON’T KNOWWW. D:
It's that time again to donate my hair to Locks of Love. 12+ inches is ready to go! I feel really good without all that heavy hair on me but my daughter is not happy about it. She likes me with long hair. As I always say, it'll grow back. My grandson's only comment was that the color is different (more grey) but he seemed as unconcerned as I am about the actual cut. :)

Spring has officially arrived, but in Delaware it's still quite cold. The recent photos in my stream were taken at a volunteer project called a "Crop Mob" where gardeners from the city help a rural farmer with labor intensive tasks, so he can get a good start on the upcoming planting. This farmer gives a lot of volunteer time to city gardeners, so we return the favor. We tear up old weed cover that has to be removed in order to plant, we take out old raspberry vines and the wire fences that supported them. We reach through plastic weed cover to help garlic shoots make their way into the sunlight. Cold work when the temperature is around freezing and the wind is blowing 15 miles per hour!
