Ryan and Krissie Newman and Ryan Newman Foundation Executive Director Rosalie De Fini look on as Dr. Beth Broome performs a sterilzation surgery at the SNIP Regional Spay/Neuter Clinic, for which the RNF donated $400,000 to build.
was about to take some pictures of the mansory panamera when i spotted this celica with custom scissor doors.
Long time coming and a long time gone ... I was going through 2010 photos and realized I never uploaded these shots from April!
Olympus OM-1n (28mm f2.8 OM Zuiko lens) with Kodak Portra 800 film
They just had their ten year anniversary and I asked if I could take some photos of them! Pretty inspiring folks to be around, so much love, so much kindness!!!
It's that time again to donate my hair to Locks of Love. 12+ inches is ready to go! I feel really good without all that heavy hair on me but my daughter is not happy about it. She likes me with long hair. As I always say, it'll grow back. My grandson's only comment was that the color is different (more grey) but he seemed as unconcerned as I am about the actual cut. :)
Impossible Project opacification test film. This was shot inside, in bright indirect sunlight. I used an SX70 with an ND filter, and I did NOT shield the film at all upon ejection. It was exposed to light for at least the first whole minute before I tucked it away under a piece of cloth.
Impossible Project says that this film is only testing the opacification and that the colors aren't optimized, but I think the colors look pretty darn good here!
A new pair of snippers for clipping threads when sewing. It's been a long time since i've had a pair of these to use. It was nice to add them to my collection with a 50% off coupon at Joann's (thanks, Liz!). They are prefect for holding in my hand while I sew up blocks and the such. *snip, snip*
Decided to give her a haircut. It was just too much. Not really a fan of too much hair. Not bad. Though again I think that’s more a testament to the hair quality then my skills.
This is not my official photo of the day.
I uploaded it to join a challenge contest by Lenareh entitled: Camera Tripod
Still, I love this shot because that's me on the lower right :)
The photo was taken inside Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul, South Korea.
i'm really excited by my last couple developer tests... i think it opens up all kinds of new possibilities w/ my early successes. i had anticipated a few prollems, but they seem to not be issues at all!
currently, i'm naming this homemade developer formula: Rosenol. my first snip test w/ it.
cheers.

If you’d like to view my images larger… While I only allow my contacts to view my larger images (I generally upload at least 800px images on the long axis)…
a quick workaround I might suggest is to view my photostream as a slideshow. Works well for me. This is frequently how I view others’ ‘streams, and it will put a large image on black. just click the projector screen icon next to the stream or set. : )
