This Snapper is just a few months old and its hypomelanistic. Hypomelanism is closely related to albinism, but the turtle still has some melanin.

Nice to see the snapdragons come back to life with the recent round of decent rain storms

This is the 5th year in a row I have seen this Snapper on its trip to the river through my land. It is really getting too big to mess with.I had to put 2 benches around this snapper so I could try to get some pictures. It was not very happy and climbed out several times.
