Captured through the glass at the aquarium at Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary...
The Sanctuary is dedicated to rescuing and rehabbing wild injured animals and releasing them back into the wild when possible. Those that cannot be released are often kept to educate the public and to promote wildlife awareness and appreciation.
Having a Red Snapper at the St. Regis Bar in Bangkok. It's a Bloody Mary, created in 1934 in the St. Regis New York. Spicy!
This photog at the West Lane Remembrance Service was wearing an Air Cadets tie and moved around to gain the very best positions to capture his images. Hearing the clatter from his DSLR (not in "quiet" mode) made me really appreciate the total silence of a mirrorless camera (in silent mode).
Think he could be using a Nikon D750 with a Nikkor 24-120mm f/4.

'Dunstabelle' records Centrebus Scania 707, which has just gained the busway in Dunstable. The actual guided bit starts just behind me.
So crazy - so many people - so many kids - swimmers - surfers - competitions - drop ins - agros - fights - barrels - wipe outs - old people - boogie boarders - speedos ..... intense atmosphere here at Snapper.
I wish the image wasn't so grainy but I wanted a really fast shutter and it was a dull dark day. Oh well.
Last night, we made a purée consisting of thyme, Thai chili peppers, garlic, scallions, lemon, lime, and oil and marinated it at room temperature for about 15 minutes. I then grilled it at about 350 degrees for 30 minutes, flipping it half way through. Next time i’ll marinate it for an hour or so, add more spicy peppers and cook it at 400 degrees for shorter amount of time for crispier skin. Total weight of fish was 3.5 lbs. Tasted excellent.
I'm holding the 1937 Kodak Retina my dad bought in Berlin on the eve of WWII. The camera still works, and I took some nice photos with it last fall. I've posted one of dad's photos taken with this camera here.
The first Retina (1934) was the camera Kodak used to introduce the standard 35mm film cassette, which we are still using today.

Snapped on Friday, 11 January 2019, a view of the Snapper tagger which is still a feature of Uzabus No. 737, a throwback to the the days, when, as NZ Bus No. 913 and as a Valley Flyer workhorse, it worked bus routes in the Hutt Valley.
The bus was still in its purple Valley Flyer livery when acquired by Uzabus.
