There were a lot of tourist around when I took this, that's why there's some ghosting on the right side, but I don't think it detracts from the shot.

There's a lot of awkward light around the London Assembly. Tower Bridge and the Tower Of London are both really bright, making it tough to get a consistent exposure across all the photos in the panorama. Some tweaking in Lightroom was necessary to give some definition to both structures.

Long Snapper Andrew Garcia #58 from Williams Field High School. The Long Snapper is an important position in football. He is responsible for quickly and accurately delivering the ball to the holder for extra points and field goals. He also hikes the ball to the punter quickly and accurately.

Power of Mother Nature

Snapper Rocks is a small rocky outcrop on the northern side of Point Danger at the southern end of Rainbow Bay on the Gold Coast. It is well known spot amongst surfers and photographers.

Got up at 3 : 30 this morning to get there at first light.

Once or twice when visiting Birds scrap yard I took a mate with me, this time it was Keith. He was a keen photographer and had a Nikon F Photomic whereas I had the bottom of the range Nikkormat, here he is in true photographers pose taking an arty shot of a huge pile of unwanted tyres. Behind Keith is a selection of Birds' hulks, the flat fronted radiator-less was once an ambulance, next along is MNX 264 a Commer that served Sona, they were makers of aluminium cookware and their factory was just across the road from Birds. One or two stripped and mangled buses add bulk to the pile, one an ex Birmingham City Transport Daimler COG5 the other an RT

Keith was a friend from school, we are still in contact.

Hand cut ceramic tile mosaic.

The Taribelang lived on 4,700 km2 of territory around Bundaberg, and inland to near Walla, and north as far as Baffle Creek. Their territory also extended along the lower reaches of the Burrum River.

I took this at Rainbow Bay some people call it Little Marlie. It was early morning and the original picture had too much noise. I took the noise out an this is the outcome. Personally I still like it and wanted to share it!
