The snailshells look amazingly antique - just like little ammonites!

that I have found in our garden over the past few years.

Seems to be a cosy place for snails here.🐌

Have a nice Friday and a good start into the weekend. 🌸

Many, many thanks for all your views, faves and comments.

I prefer my sister's alternative suggestion "A Snuggle of Snails" as a far more descriptive collective noun :-)

Abandoned snail shells ... found in the garden.

Enjoy the abstraction of "Flat Surfaces". Abstraction, where surfaces reject taste and texture, and substitute their own reality. Find more photos of the dish with this snail shell @

Насладете се на абстрактността на "Плоски Повърхнини". Абстрактност, където повърхности отричат вкус и текстурa, и формират тяхна собствена реалност. Намерете още снимки на ястието с тази охлювна черупка @

Part of my nifty snail shell collection, posing on a mossy rock.

Floating empty snail shell making its final autumn journey caught my eye.

À la croisée du végétal et de l'organique, un minuscule être avance sans bruit, sculpté par la lumière.

Le silence devient matière.

La lenteur, une force.

At the crossroads of leaf and life, a tiny creature moves in silence, carved by the light.

Silence becomes matter.

Slowness becomes strength.

A red-breasted merganser mother (Mergus serrator) and her adorable chicks, who stayed in our neighbourhood for a long time last summer.

It's nice to go through warming summer photos, on a cold and windy winter day like today.

Small Snail Shell, personally I liked the texture and wanted to see if I could bring out some detail with such a basic setup

Sorry ᶜ(︶︿︶)ᵓ ...

I've been MIA for a little while!

Found this lovely shell in my back yard (still no luck finding a live snail to photograph) and liked how it looked sitting on our new lanterns, with the contrasting curves. Perhaps I should clean them the next time I use them in a shot, but I think the dust adds something this time.

On a side note, and speaking of curves, I had planned on monthly themes for this 100, but I have decided to just do shots I'm happy with. I am doing another project with themes, so I think I will enjoy having more freedom with this project.
