Sigma SAL 105mm F2.8 EX DG MACRO OS

The snail had long gone when I found this in the garden.

Small Snail Shell, personally I liked the texture and wanted to see if I could bring out some detail with such a basic setup

Sorry ᶜ(︶︿︶)ᵓ ...

I've been MIA for a little while!

Found this lovely shell in my back yard (still no luck finding a live snail to photograph) and liked how it looked sitting on our new lanterns, with the contrasting curves. Perhaps I should clean them the next time I use them in a shot, but I think the dust adds something this time.

On a side note, and speaking of curves, I had planned on monthly themes for this 100, but I have decided to just do shots I'm happy with. I am doing another project with themes, so I think I will enjoy having more freedom with this project.

Photo #250 and 4300 views, thank you my flickr friends!!! Have a nice sunday!

...found a little snail shell in the garden...

All rolled into One...

...and it hums in silence.

Roll, roll roll..!

Every set of dice!

Snails Pace...

While taking photos of the garden I spotted a snail on the concrete making its way ever so slowly towards the fence.

It was an easy target to photograph as it almost slowly moved across the concrete. Would this be considered still life.... LOL

It's been a month since I've uploaded anything...bleh. I don't know why. I think things will start picking up. I'm loving the beautiful weather we're having here!

I'm making sure the snail shells are really dry before finding somewhere to keep them. We'll then have our own shells when we want snails again.

The weather was a lot better today, but very windy and although I went out for a walk with Rufus and took my camera, there wasn't anything staying still enough to photo and I was getting very cold.

At the crossroads of leaf and life, a tiny creature moves in silence, carved by the light.

Silence becomes matter.

Slowness becomes strength.
