5-31 - Variant head sculpts for the Unidentified Greasy Creature and the modified sculpt for Saw Gerrera.
1:18 scale. Casts made from Smooth-On products, sculpt using Aves Clay FIXIT Sculpt.
I’ve finished the alternate head sculpts for the Unidentified Greasy Creature, one with the mouth closed and the other showing his “War Face”.
The shots you see here are the sculpts that are set up in the mold boxes. I meant to shoot them beforehand but my excitement to get these molded got the best of me.
One a side note, do any of you who mold and cast feel like Christmas morning when you can pull clean castings from your new molds? Perhaps it’s just me. LOL!
Also modified an existing cast of the Forest Whitaker sculpt to create Saw Gerrera from Andor, Season 1.
I used scoring and dental tools to accent the facial features and scars, Aves FIXIT for the head and facial hair.
I want to do an alternate sculpt of Saw’s “crazy face” Also want to create a head sculpt version of Saw from Andor: Season 2 - A bit more war weary and crazier hair.
One more thing I need to fix…The Saw Gerrera head sculpt is a bit too large for the body frame. So I will need to reduce it by 10- 15%. Will try the ol’ mineral spirits trick. Worked for me before so crossing my fingers.
Thanks for checking out the update. I’m setting up a new ALIEN 79 Nostromo corridor wall so expect some updates on that build soon.
More to come!

5.3 Sculpt update on Saw Gerrera. Star Wars: Andor season 1 - 1:18 scale
Sculpt material - Aves FIXIT Sculpt.
Here is the first iteration of a Saw Gerrera (Forest Whitaker) head sculpt. I need to make some adjustments, add bulk to the back of the head. I usually create a neutral, clean sculpt initially. Then...
Once complete, I will make a mold then cast several to create the second iteration with more facial hair, scaring etc. Still a neutral face.
Then, when that is complete, make another mold and cast, then sculpt an alternate head sculpt of screaming, laughing...whatever may look good. He's a crazy SOB so it needs some emotion behind it.
This version will be based off his appearance in Andor Season 1.
I've said this in the past...I've never been absolute at hitting a likeness dead on. As long as I can get a sense of the actor/actress, character or whatever, I feel I'm moving in the right direction. Still, I have adjustments to make.
More updates to come! Thanks for looking!
