Wasn't to bothered about this one as I've already got one! It looked good until I pulled it out when there was a chunk missing and I found it laying a few metres away from it! :)

My smashed car sits out the front of our house patiently waiting for the insurance claim to be processed.
Part of a derelict factory next to the Stratford canal. One of the joys of canal boating is that you get this delightful mix of countryside, posh houses, and random factories that haven't been turned into "luxury waterside developments" yet. I had to take the picture from the moving boat, so it was very much a case of having one chance, which didn't work quite as well as I'd have liked, but it's kinda interesting anyway.
Photo has been cropped slightly, and desaturated a bit to weaken the colours.
Of course I regretted this poor squirrel's unfortunate death, but I had to take the photo opportunity.
I documented all of the animal dissections in my Anatomy and Physiology class during my senior year of high school, so I have no problem photographing dead animals.
This happened right outside my office. A crane fitted with a drilling attachment fell over and smashed a truck. The huge drill bit smashed the roof and the arm of the crane smashed the bed. Amazingly, the driver was completely unhurt and was walking around talking to police and reporters and stuff.
...and here's why there were squad cars and the wrecker and people milling about.
The white car was parked at the curb... on the far side of the street. An SUV hit it from behind... pushing it up onto the front lawn, one house down from where it had been parked. At this point, the SUV has already been taken away... and the wrecker is working on lifting this remaining car up unto his flatbed truck.
When your the errant driver... or the owner of the parked car... nice way to start the day... huh? Good morning!

The USPS is generally pretty good about delivering things without damage, but occasionally Something Goes Wrong. This rack (the prototype for the FBM/Endpoint Hunter-Gatherer semi-fatbike) was being returned so it could be adjusted to fit the H-G through-axle fork, but it had an unfortunate incident somewhere between Richmond and Portland.
The mailman rang the doorbell when the package was delivered just so he could tell me that it was like that before delivery, so I actually had a witness when I unpacked it and saw this smashed-flat ruin.
