A building that does not exist. I loved the way that the urinals were smashed up during the demolitions, and remained visible to one and all over Chrismas and New Year...
There were many such figuers built by Chinese engineers on this splendid Highway, one of the highest - probably the highest - in the World. Now, many of these lions have their faces smashed by zealots.
Last week, my poor 3GS 16GB iPhone met its maker by hitting the concrete outside, face first.
Getting a replacement soon and using my first gen in the meantime, but ouch...
Oh and it's in a baggy because it was shedding shards of glass everywhere. And yes, I made a phonecall with the phone in the bag. I'm classy that way!

I noticed this inkblot yesterday on my way home from work, and 24 hours later the stain was still visible on the St. George platform. A robust red, with a lingering after-image.

Taken at an abandoned motel.
Stole This From My Son :))
The Trecastle Motel & Services is an abandoned motel, café, fuel station and truck stop just outside Sennybridge, Mid Wales, also known as Greystone's motel. It was placed up for sale in the early '90's after the owner ran into financial difficulty, but a buyer was not found and it closed down in 1995. The local Council are basically to blame ( yet again ) for their lack of vision and their inability to see the broader picture. It has in recent times been a home for the travelling communities and now is home to local sheep.
