a spider in our yard after the rain .. he was very very tiny ... combined two photographs of spider with another one of grass ...
This little piece of plastic is what keeps me from falling if I'm wearing my knee brace. Kinda scary.
there are only two wasps left surviving on their nest as they die off as the colder months approach .. the two left wont live much longer or will abandon the nest and go to some sheltered place & hibernate during winter ..
i decided to put a flower on the nest so i could get a more interesting photograph, because i've only ever photographed them on the nest .. i was hoping i wouldnt get stumg, because i've read their sting is extremely painful !!..
i picked a few different wattle varieties and gently and slowly placed one of them on the nest.
the wasps seemed to really enjoy the wattle .. this is wattle that she's eating, not some squashed bug ..
i didnt get stung.
These are my shiny disco balls - I think they are really meant for xmas tree decoration, but I have them hanging from my window!
A look inside our colorful home. I am trying to document how the house looks and feels before even more packing starts happening. This was the first time in my adult life (through owning two houses) that I allowed myself to be fully chaotic throughout the entire house. It has been fun, but I can already tell I need more planning and some calm spaces in the next home when we move. Every day a little more of our chaotic hoard disappears and I’m glad to be able to document it as it is in every stage.
Beware of the person who won't be bothered with details.
