i put a wattle branch with flowers on the nest to try and get a photograph that was more interesting, because all the photographs i've taken of the wasps in summer have been on the nest ..
this photograph of the wasp crawling on the wattle is combined with other photographs taken on the firetrail near where i live ..
its winter now and the paper wasps have either died off or gone to hibernate .. this was taken a couple of weeks ago .. the nest has dropped off the barbed wire fence and the wasps are now gone ..
Could not resist capture of these tiny mushrooms on a mossy stone found in my garden. taken with my old 5D. I love the feeling i get from big pixels

Albero secco
Un albero secco
fuori dalla mia finestra
solitario
leva nel cielo freddo
i suoi rami bruni:
Il vento sabbioso la neve e il gelo
non possono ferirlo.
Ogni giorno quell'albero
mi dà pensieri di gioia,
da quei rami secchi
indovino il verde a venire.
