i put a wattle branch with flowers on the nest to try and get a photograph that was more interesting, because all the photographs i've taken of the wasps in summer have been on the nest ..

this photograph of the wasp crawling on the wattle is combined with other photographs taken on the firetrail near where i live ..

its winter now and the paper wasps have either died off or gone to hibernate .. this was taken a couple of weeks ago .. the nest has dropped off the barbed wire fence and the wasps are now gone ..

Albero secco

Un albero secco

fuori dalla mia finestra

solitario

leva nel cielo freddo

i suoi rami bruni:

Il vento sabbioso la neve e il gelo

non possono ferirlo.

Ogni giorno quell'albero

mi dà pensieri di gioia,

da quei rami secchi

indovino il verde a venire.

The elevator in my building is broken and I've been having to walk up and down 10 stories. I found this hole in the wall in the stairwell.

cute gentleman ,with little stick in its hand ,and hat on his head

My mother has decided she wants to get a doll's house, and has bought herself a tiny little replica kitchen dresser to start herself off. My little brother and I got her (among other things) some tiny things to put on the dresser. The present went down very well indeed.
