"Small Things" -- the little "plaque" explaining the curbside paper flowers by 5th-graders from the Josiah Quincy School in Chinatown. With the assistance of Marrikka Trotter.
I am a sucker for a label....and I am not talking designer!
A colour label!
I love it when someone takes the time to say something is Apple rather than green, Lemon rather than yellow....
I bought this cardi because it's tag stated it was Apple and the dress was on Ebay with the winsome title of Vintage Lemon Dress!
Sucked right in!
I had to own and wear them!
I feel fruity!

It has been a very busy month. I was trying to think of something that I could do to decompress for a bit.
I picked up my camera. Good choice. Granted, often when I pick up my camera, I bring a lot of pressure onto myself with it. This time, I just wanted to slow down and see for a little bit.
Maybe I'll start blogging again.
this is katee ..
she's has been trained so well that i have succeeded in making her stay incredibly still under the most extreme circumstances ..
the circumstance in this instance is a dragonfly on her nose ..
the dragonfly was also a most beloved family pet ..
i was able to get this photograph after gruelling hours of training, in which both pets appeared to overcome their natural aversion to each other.
katee seems to have made herself scarce since the ordeal, except at meal times .. and the dragonfly .. well .. i havent seen him at all .. i think i saw some fragments of his wing hidden in katee's bed .. i'm not totally sure .. they were very small fragments ..
i have to say, in case anyone actually believes that story and accuses me of abuse .. (stranger things have happened) .. that katee and the dragonfly were brought together in photoshop ...:)
thankyou to leschick for one of the textures i used .. )
Aseye and mother broke into Ewe folksongs when they walked in. Da was elated; it brought back memories. We all joined in the singing. There's nothing like those songs.
a bullant on the firetrail with a texture/overlay of water on the windscreen going thru the carwash ..
from googling i'd say this little guy is a damselfly .. he was very small .. probably less than 2cm or 7/8" long .. i noticed him land and started taking photographs .. i only got a couple before katee came and scared him off ..
its amazing how such a tiny insect, just by his posture, can put across a feeling of confusion .. !!..:)
