Here is a picture of a knob to a drawer. It is small thing. I went through all the steps to merge 3or4 pictures into an HDR image but for some reason I am not super impressed by these results. Maybe I just didn't photograph a great subject. Ok obviously I didn't photograph a great subject. Maybe next time.

Aseye and mother broke into Ewe folksongs when they walked in. Da was elated; it brought back memories. We all joined in the singing. There's nothing like those songs.

Wondering if I could raid my craft box to make an advent calendar

 

from googling i'd say this little guy is a damselfly .. he was very small .. probably less than 2cm or 7/8" long .. i noticed him land and started taking photographs .. i only got a couple before katee came and scared him off ..

its amazing how such a tiny insect, just by his posture, can put across a feeling of confusion .. !!..:)

we were moving in & i was taking photos of the bugs & things around & the movers noticed this & told me to come & look. man! i'd never seen one this big or this color. they were excited for me & that was cool. they'd been around us for about a week packing & unpacking so i guess they kinda started to know us.
