Another one at Namsangol Hanok Village. Malcolm and I live in a tropical country where we don't have pinecones so we were so fascinated by the beauty of these little things. We thought we'd bring them home for keepsakes, but after a couple of days in our hotel room they started to 'open' and bits fell off. Is that normal? :O
By the way, I'm sorry I haven't been looking through my contacts' photos or commenting lately, I'm so busy with work.

i was photographing bees that were gathering nectar and pollen from these flowers when i noticed this bug .. i took a couple of shots and thinking he'd be there for a while coz he wasnt moving, i changed position .. mistake .. he flew off right after this shot was taken ..
For a manager at T-Mobile who is very patriotic about being from Cornwall! I'd have loved to have included the Cornwall flag too, but just didn't the time to add it in! This is a 8" and 6" chocolate sponge, filled with vanilla orange buttercream, and crumb-coated in chocolate ganache buttercream! Totally edible, seashells are made from a 50:50 sugarpaste/gumpaste mix.
Credit to Betty's Sugar Dreams for the brilliant original 'seaside' design cake - I was totally inspired by it, and also by SmallThings Iced who built a sandcastle cake.
Wandering around Brockley there was plenty of opportunity for moss seed heads. I liked the red of the front door of this as a nice colourful backdrop that the green seed heads merge into.
Borrowed my husbands camera and new MPE-65 lens today, and found this rather unwilling model in the garden, however with a bit of patience (s)he decided to stay still while I fired a few shots
These were a little larger than the ones I ate in the teriaki. And these were still raw and wiggling.
