I love weird little things; we have a bunch of these shelves I call “Small Things Shelves” and I’m always hunting for other weird little bits that catch my eye. I can’t wait for flea market season to come around again, I just know at the bottom of a dusty cardboard box there is treasure waiting for me.

Another one at Namsangol Hanok Village. Malcolm and I live in a tropical country where we don't have pinecones so we were so fascinated by the beauty of these little things. We thought we'd bring them home for keepsakes, but after a couple of days in our hotel room they started to 'open' and bits fell off. Is that normal? :O
By the way, I'm sorry I haven't been looking through my contacts' photos or commenting lately, I'm so busy with work.

It's hard to get a photo of these flowers that doesn't include an ant, as they stay busy on them. But it's hard to get a good photo of an ant, as they are nearly constantly in motion, with legs all akimbo and something out of focus.
All set for world cup viewing... couch, in front of tv, cushions, reading material, remote within reach, laptop, sleep cloth, cell phone. Mulit-tasking is the name of the game. My life for the next month. See also: Dilemmas
