"Don't look for big things, just do small things with great love."

Better known as Mother Teresa, Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu was an Albanian born Indian Roman Catholic Nun, who from the age of 12 after being impressed by a group of missionaries, commited her life to serving Christ. She wrote to her Sisters; "To the good God nothing is little because He is so great and we so small—that is why He stoops down and takes the trouble to make those little things for us—to give us a chance to prove our love for Him. He makes them; they are very great. He cannot make anything small; they are infinite. Yes my dear children, be faithful in the little practices of love, of little sacrifices—of the little interior mortification—of the little fidelities to Rule, which will build you in the life of holiness—make you Christ-like. (Mother Teresa: Come Be My Light, By Mother Teresa, Brian Kolodiejchuk)

I finally put up some holiday decoration last week.
The days are so short that I can't take decent photos at home during workdays now, with all the rain, it's dark when I leave and dark when I come home. Finally the sun made a short appearance on Sunday :) So I was able to capture this little forest for you.
Have you decorated your home? What colour scheme are you going with this year?
these bugs where on a bush on the firetrail .. there were literally thousands of them, some forming clumps all together ..
i've used alien skin/fire filter and ghostbones/chaotic soul texture

Our 3 yr old came home on Friday proudly holding this little carton in his hands. "My plant, Mommy!"
For a manager at T-Mobile who is very patriotic about being from Cornwall! I'd have loved to have included the Cornwall flag too, but just didn't the time to add it in! This is a 8" and 6" chocolate sponge, filled with vanilla orange buttercream, and crumb-coated in chocolate ganache buttercream! Totally edible, seashells are made from a 50:50 sugarpaste/gumpaste mix.
Credit to Betty's Sugar Dreams for the brilliant original 'seaside' design cake - I was totally inspired by it, and also by SmallThings Iced who built a sandcastle cake.
I think, most of the times we don't really pay attention to the smallest things in life, like the smiles, the "Hi's", the little sweet words and the like, but are those small things which make the difference in our lives...
So I promise myself to pay more attention to all those little things and also to do more of those small things to you all, anyways they are for free!
hugs!!!

For me, this shot just like a capture of the moment the air were dancing around with this red rose.. This bring me the poetic in motion mood.
It's not effect by photoshop or any kind of post processing but it is the way I did when I press click of my camera..
Not full intention, it's by chance and it's nice experiment.
I love this shot, no perfect type though but somehow I have rebel mind...there is something interesting in imperfect thing as well..
Experiment :
slow shutter speed..in low light
after click, swaying camera in half cirle

a mouse/ house gnome/ fairy/ my Dad left me a tiny little envelope in the kitchen this morning. it was quite the quaint surprise!
I have absolutely no clue where my silver polish is but I'm 100% sure that I should find it before I wear this necklace out in public again.
Wood sorrel (Oxalis europea), sometimes miscalled 'clover' or 'shamrock' because of its beautifully shamrocky leaves. Real clover has oval leaflets in trios, not heart-shaped ones. It is very small -- the leaf-triplets in the photo are no bigger than my thumbprint, and the flower is smaller than a pencil eraser. I love my macro settings, I do. :->
