Taro and I went out for a walk after 3 this afternoon. Again, I underestimated the AZ sun, in FEBRUARY. On the way back, we were both toasted. You can't see my face from this photo, but I look just like Taro.

I got my cell phone camera ready when I saw the cloud of cigarette smoke hanging in the shafts of morning light above this dog's owner's head, knowing that I'd really need the Canon and the long lens to capture it. Instead I greeted the owner and made a new friend in her yorkiepoo. Apparently he'd just arrived in the city yesterday.

Many thanks from 11 year old Roxy for her (long overdue) new XL Big Barker bed! I'm sure it is going to work wonders for her arthritic pain! As you can see, "baby sister" Lily thinks it's pretty comfy too! Thanks Big Barker!

We had skylights in our den. Keiko would jump up on the back of the couch and snooze in the warmth of the sun as it passed over the skylights.
So our Poe has owned your bed for approximately 4 hours now and he has slept on it in all different ways. Curled up, stretched out, with a friend, without a friend, head on, and head off. I am so thrilled that I spent the extra money and got your bed! (Notice it doesn't squish down under his 80lbs, even with a friend.). You see Poe is special, not only is he a certified therapy dog but he's also the best dog ever, and he's been struggling with some medical stuff this last year. He's almost 10 and sleeps a lot now and we want him to be as comfortable as possible when he's resting. Your bed gave us exactly what we needed!!!
