Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Pic is of our dear Boston Terrier Buddy who just recently turned two years old. He just recently obtained his first two points towards his Canadian Championship title, at his first dog show.
Buddy is my first Boston Terrier and he has surpassed my expectations in ease of training, including intelligence and willingness to please. He knows left paw, right paw, down, sit, come, heal, go back, stand, stay and finish in both verbal and hand commandments. He does a high five, stacks up automatically for a dog show and is great at scenting as well. He also has quite the sense of humor and has me laughing often!
This lovely white dog looked so dejected lying on a bench in the park while his owners were busy. He wanted to join them and run around freely, but dogs have to be on a leash.
Our almost 16 year old Shih Tzu, exploring some very old Maple trees.

*This was the last photo I took of Oreo. He past away at 16 years and 2 weeks in January,2020.
Finley is a sweet puppy. He lives on our street, just a few houses east of us. I made several exposures, this is the only one that turned out. Finley was moving around without a pause!
Sunlight through the window guarding her squeaky pig..the only toy she treats like a newborn pup.Licks it clean, nuzzles it and cries until she can find it a safe spot to stay in..she growls and threatens the other dogs if they try to take it from her..She is the piggy momma.
She's doing better now but had to have the big cone thingy on her so she does'nt scratch them..
She is giving me the evil eye!
He was outside in the deep snow and got his nozzle all wet, but did not mind and loved being petted too. A pity the Shephard Dog had to sit alone on sidewalk as he might have loved being in the snow also. Dogs seem to like to frolic in the white stuff.

I had to hold my old girl because she was pretty close to completely blind even here in 04, she was on a table top too and probably would have walked right off the edge had I not.. She had a little black cape you just cant see it too well.
I miss her, but I cherish all the fun memories and joy she gave me...Just thought it was fitting for the season. My little Baby was a lifesaver for me. Unfortunately it was her time and she died of a heart condition..finally a heart attack.
She died on May 30th 2006 peacefully in my arms while our Vet put her to sleep..she was in her favorite blankie..I stayed with her even after she was gone..she was my Baby girl ..16.
I see pictures of her today and dont cry as much like I used to... Now?... ..I can finally smile.
keeping an eye out for Pterodactyls???
He heard crows chasing an Eagle above the canopy and paused to watch while walking up the ice flow.
I'll have to go back and bring my YakTraks!
He really wanted to be off the leash and run around on his own in the park across the street. He seemed to look at me for help. He is quite a bit bigger now.
He wonders why he got left out of Explore like the other doggie photo; maybe that's why he looks kinda sad? Lol!
We were out this morning on Lepe beach and came across a couple of puppies . This one caught my eye while Astrida (Bigbird3)managed to snap her sister and has posted it today . It felt cold & windy so we didn't hang around very long. Recently a rare small-tooth shark was found on the beach here . Today we did spot a seal before we left- but no sharks .
I was looking for turtles at a small bridge and noticed this pretty young lady walking her little dog at the top of the hill.
So, I snapped a quick photo.

This little dog did not seem to mind sitting in a carrying bag on the bench in the afternoon sun in the park.
I was a mess this morning. I knew I had to say goodbye and I was crying and just devastated knowing that this trip to the vet would be her last... She died peacefully in my arms with her favorite blankie.
I am left with so many good memories. I can sit and smile now thinking of all her funny little ways This is posted for my friends Bill and for Charley. When I saw Spikes photos He asked if I had any posted of Baby. So, here they are y'all. :0) Thank you for letting me share this..and for all your kind comments.
