The bugged out 1952 VW Beetle was part of Weston Missouri VolksWeston where vintage VW cars, trucks and vans were located in the 300 and 400 block of Main St. and the City Hall Parking Lot. A good turn out of 200 plus vintage Dubs appeared.

A VW I found by the side of the road back in 2011 and although it sure looks a bit more faded, has not changed much.

My wife's dream car.
The Beetle in the photo is by the road for sale for $2,000 and it says "needs engine rebuilt". The real one doesn't look quite this nice, but close.

Malaysian-registered, of course. Cozy kitty and some sort of rickshaw hawker is included. Funnily, I didn't see those people waving when I took the photo, only just spotted them today.
Just checked closer, "EX" prefix plates such as these were used in Singapore between 1973 and 1984, meaning that this car has had its Certificate of Entitlement (mad expensive) renewed at least twice when this photo was taken.
