As you can imagine it was amazing. The set included Nighttrain, Rocket Queen, Civil War, Sweet Child and Paradise City.
« La Bulle est une texture fragile et éphémère, posée sur le temps, comme sur un fil, elle ère. Elle se nourrit de l'instant, de sa lumière, on en oublie un temps, qu'elle est composée d'air. Le créateur les fait naître et les maîtrise, avec une aisance poétique douce et précise. Se mettent à danser, sous nos yeux d'enfants, des tourbillons de rêves le temps de quelques instants. »

Wanted to share this set of models from Rover Dangerfield. This toon was one of the last ones done in America. The last one I painted was Cool World. Most of the animation I painted was for independent studios with my company "KARTOON Ink & Paint". This set would have been thrown away after the movie was done. This is valuable to artists for color and shading. This also shows the work that went into this just for the models. These artists are fantastic, enjoy seeing the process.

At my friends' Hallowedding, Slash passed out even before they served the meal. Typical.
(And in case you're wondering -- or even if you weren't -- that's a woman under that wig.)
Legendary rock guitarist Slash performing for the first time in Malaysia before a packed audience at the Surf Beach at Sunway Lagoon, August 8, 2010. Slash and his band burst onto the stage with Ghost, the first song off his new solo album, which instantly got the 7,000-strong audience raising their hands and singing along. The 44-yearold guitarist and his band also played classic Guns N’ Roses songs like Sweet Child O’ Mine, Night Train and Civil War. GLENN GUAN/The Star
Late notice trip for 2 days to Hellfest at Clisson, France with Monster Energy Europe.
Was quite nice to have no pressure to shoot bands and over 2 days I shot a total of 5: Slash, Deftones, 36 Crazyfists, Infectious Grooves and Knuckledust.
Good vibes and healthy networking, and a CRAZY amount of photographers (over 100 easily).
My first snowboard design for Slash's upcoming 2015 board series called Happy Place. Slash Snowboards is X Games medalist Gigi Rüf's snowboard company. The new boards will be available from July 2014.

House policy dictated that no professional cameras were allowed
without a photo pass so I was "stuck" using my Fuji s9000 it was
heartbreaking to see photographers standing 2 feet in front of me with
lenses worth close to 5x the total cost of my camera... But thanks to
some spotlights I was able to get a couple fun shots.
Also I was not present at the after party @ "CBGB's" ... So no I
Don't have any pictures of that event..
Alas here we are.. some of the hundreds of fun shots I took all
released under the creative commons license. WOOT.. I only hope the
pros in front of me with the fancy lenses do the same.. or at least
give the profits to Road Recovery..
Look to The Nightwatchman's blog on Myspace for a report on who played
what songs..

27 July 2008 - Analamazaotra National Park (Périnet), Madagascar.
Indri (Indri indri).
Day 3 of our trip through Madagascar. Early after sunrise we hear the trumpet-slash-foghorn-like call of the indri coming out of the damp forests. And this is not the noisy forest you might expect. It is not like the Amazone jungle you see in documentaries. You do not hear all the birds, insects and frogs. Especially not in the morning. It is quite quiet. You just hear the call from the indri every now and then as it travels for a mile through the woods.
Other people can whistle on their fingers, I can play a loud trumpet on my hands. When we were still at the resort at the hill- huts where I appreciated the extra blankets - we could hear their call coming from the jungle at the opposite hill, across the water. I trumpeted on my hands. And they responded by answering my loud trumpet noise!
It is a rainforest for sure. Not that tropical; it is montane rainforest. It is chilly. The rain is pouring down, sometimes only a drizzle. We have to walk through thickets and undergrowth away from the paths to follow our guides, orienting at the morning calls of the indri. Along steep muddy hills. You have to be early. In the morning they forage and jump from tree to tree at the lower levels. In the afternoon they sit high up into the trees and you can't find them.
After some climbing around - and spotting other lemures - and a scouting guide ahead we find them. A whole family group of indri's. This is what I came here for. The number 1 animal on my wishlist for Madagascar.
Magnificent creatures. The biggest lemures out there. Mix a fluffy koala with a panda and a black and white colobus monkey and you have an indri.
It was quite hard to shoot good pictures. A lot of scattering light in the drizzle; you have to shoot up to the trees against the light, which causes a white haze. And my camera equipment - Canon EOS 350D with a non-image stabalized 70-300mm zoom lens - was not that great yet. But I managed to get some nice shots! They are beautiful. With amazingly powerful legs, jumping 8 meters between trees easily. Chewing their morning leaves.
