Tominčev slap (waterfall) is some 18 m high waterfall on the Beli opotok creek. I guess it never gets sunshine and it's very rarely that it has abundance of water.
This year, there is a tourist bus which takes you all the way to Slap Pericnik, in the heart of the Vrata Valley.
I took the bus to the falls, and made the climb up to get close (I had my weatherproof Nikon D750 with me) and took some photos before walking back down to Mojstrana.
The source of Life - the most visited waterfall in Slovenia
The visible part of the Savica is fed by the wider karst area of Crno Jezero, lying 500m above the waterfall. The water flows through a hidden underground of passages and lakes in two separate streams.
There is a long climb of 550 steps to each the waterfall.
The mysterious Kozjak waterfall, which is captured in a stony chamber, is according to many the most beautiful waterfall in Slovenia.
Not far from Kobarid, above the emerald green Soča River, there is a gorge of the Kozjak stream, where the 15-metre-high Kozjak Waterfall particularly stands out. This popular natural sight creates the image of a heavenly corner hidden from the everyday world by tall, dark walls, covered in limestone sediments, just like in the karstic caves.
An arranged footpath will lead you to the waterfall. In some places, it is complemented by small wooden bridges and ends with a terrace with a mystical view of the rocky amphitheatre with a green pool and a white beam of water.
The Kozjak Stream, which springs in several headwater sections high under Krnčica (2,142 m), flows through multiple pools and six waterfalls, of which only two are accessible to visitors: in addition to the Veliki Kozjak (Kozjak Waterfall), there is the slightly lower, 8-metre-high Mali Kozjak waterfall.
Day 47 - This sticker on a parking sign pole caught my eye so I took a photo of it with as much bokeh in the background as possible.
Although the dolphins appear to be having fun together leaping in and out of the water other things are actually on their minds. My advice to any salmon, is don't be fooled by their apparent playfulness.
Chanonry point is located at a narrow point opposite Fort George on the Moray Firth. As the tide rises the salmon move through this narrow stretch of water. Unfortunately for them some 190 dolphins also know this. The result is one of the most amazing wildlife spectacles I have had the pleasure to watch.
