Roški slap (waterfall) with its environment is one of the biggest attractions of Krka natural parc. Nearby are old water mill, above the waterfall a stretch of splendid cascades and in the walls of Krka canyon there's also a cave with important neolithic heritage.

Ce n'est pas le plus haute cascade de Slovénie, ni la plus puissante mais certainement la plus remarquable. Au fil des siècles cette cascade a creusée dans la roche une grotte fendu en son milieu. On peut si baigner mais cela est réservé au plus courageux, l'eau ne doit pas dépasser 10°

Finally, the haze is lifted and I can see blue sky again. The air has been so bad for the past week or so and I could hardly see any blue sky. Thank god, it's back and I'm back hunting for more shots. Please enjoy the poem above. It was printed on a bookmark given to me by a dear friend. Everytime I feel down and blue, this beautiful piece reminds me of the wonderful things I'm currently blessed with.

I find it very hard to take an interesting photo of a pectoral slap, but I like the light on the fin in this photo.
Tominčev slap (waterfall) is some 18 m high waterfall on the Beli opotok creek. I guess it never gets sunshine and it's very rarely that it has abundance of water.
The Virje Waterfall of the Glijun Stream, a tributary of the Soča river at Bovec in Slovenia.
It's actually 12m high so quite the waterfall, but blink and you'd miss it as you travel down the Soča river.
Luckily for you I'm a sucker for waterfalls so we drove down some very narrow lanes and then hiked down to this spot, just for this shot.
It was beautiful, but not quite Dettifoss!
